Calendula Grapefruit Tallow Lip Balm **Now with Vanilla Mint scent
The long cold fingers of winter have hit the flowers here, just like the flowers this is the time your lips start cracking. Try our "garden enhanced" tallow lip balm to soothe those chapped lips. Small easy carry tin can fits in your pocket. Smooth balm on lips with your finger and feel the intense moisturizing.
The natural smell of the Calendula, Grapefruit and Olive Oils cancelled out the tallow smell but now I have added Vanilla Mint for improved scent and a hint of flavor. Now with added Organic Jojoba oil.

Beyond Organic Calendula Oil: has antifungal, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial properties that might make it useful in healing wounds. It is also used as an antiseptic. May accelerate wound healing, and provide firmness and hydration to skin. Can soothe skin inflammation that is triggered due to acne, sunburn, rosacea, psoriasis, eczema, or even a breakdown of collagen.
Beyond Organic Grapefruit Oil: has antiseptic properties so it can help get rid of minor skin infections and sensitivities and provides some protection against acne causing bacteria. The Vitamin C in Citrus oils when used topically, because it's highly acidic, can trigger the skin to heal itself by accelerating the production of collagen and elastin.
Organic Unrefined Olive Oil: is packed with healthy vitamins, fats, and antioxidants, and these components can contribute to healthier-looking skin. Olive oil contains squalene and vitamin E. Squalene supports the skin’s moisture retention, whereas vitamin E increases the skin’s capacity to absorb and retain water. It also has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties, which can aid in wound healing.

Mint from my Beyond Organic garden infused with 100% Pure cold pressed unrefined Rose Hips Oil for flavor. Rose hips are rich in vitamins A, C, E and essential fatty acids. These fatty acids are anti-inflammatory and can improve signs of aging, pigmentation and moisturize the skin.

This is a natural product with no emulsifiers, as described on www.westonaprice.org. This means there is no help to keep the oils bound. You may have some oil bubbles come to the top in certain temperature changes. Expect it may happen in an all natural product but let me know please. Your input is necessary to better serve you.
