Location Specifics We are located in North Central Florida and have 170 acres that we lease/own; 60 acres is wooded and the rest is open pasture. It is a quiet and safe area outside of the city where you can enjoy the fresh air and beautiful stars at night.
Application Process Email us directly if you are interested and we will send an application. Once received we will review it internally with the farm partners and setup a conference call. If that goes well, we will ask you to come for a few days up to a week for a trial and if we are all happy, then we will determine a start date for the internship.
Food Provided All food would be provided for you to cook for yourself for breakfast and dinner. We will have meals cooked and available for lunch (except Sundays). On our farm we have grass fed beef, forest-fed pork, free range chickens, raw milk and much more.
Expectations We expect that the candidate will be eager and interested in learning all aspects of the farming operation and that they will jump in if/when necessary to ensure the farm runs smoothly. Also, we expect that the candidate be ready and willing to start work each day at the agreed upon time and maintain a positive and respectful attitude. We are very open and interested in feedback and ideas so feel free to share anything we can do to make the farm a better place to live, work, etc.

Education Potential You will learn about rotational grazing practices of beef cows, how to milk dairy cows, rotating pigs through woods, electrical fencing, free range chickens, marketing, sales, farmers market activities, how to sell to restaurants, how to grow your business, land management practices, husbandry, etc. Much of what we do mimics Joel Salatin's practices at Polyface Farms.

Position Description This position will allow the eligible candidate to learn all aspects of the farm as outlined below: 1. Milk and rotate dairy cows 2. Rotate beef cows (100% grass fed) 3. Feed, water and move forest fed pigs 4. Learn to milk/move goats 5. Learn to handle egg layers 6. Learn to raise meat birds 7. Assist with farm projects (ex. fencing, water system, building new structures, etc.) 8. Act as back-up when Farm Owner/Partners are away from the farm 9. Learn order management process (prepping orders, invoicing, delivering orders, etc.) 10. Participate in farmers markets 11. Build relationships with local restaurants where our products are sold and market to new restaurants 12. Participate in local events that we attend such as music festivals, etc. where we are asked to act as the food vendors 13. Other projects/duties as they arise

Description Full Circle Farm is a family owned and operated farm producing nutrient dense foods the old fashioned way with a modern twist. Our foods have no chemicals of any kind including no hormones or anti-biotics. We go way beyond the federal governments organic standards. We offer Non-GMO eggs/chicken, 100% grass fed beef with rotational grazing, raw dairy products (milk, yogurt, kefir, cottage cheese, etc.) and forest fed pigs rotating them through 60 acres of woods using holistic land management practices. We have deliveries throughout North, Central & South Florida, sell at various farmer's markets as well as various restaurants. We also offer educational seminars at the farm and farm consulting to help new farmer's get started farming. We love visitors and have an open door policy. We are looking for interns to help us continue to grow the business and if it works out to start their own enterprise at the end of the internship.
