I have made some big modifications to this Egyptian condiment. First the sunflower and
pumpkin seeds are fermented and dehydrated just like the pecans. I use Sari foods non-fortified
nutritional yeast and organic Main Dulse flakes, and with salt and spices all gets ground into a
sprinkle. The nutritional yeast is loaded with vitamins, the dulse flakes (seaweed) is high in
iodine, with the probiotic seeds makes this a fantastic supplement that can be enjoyed on
almost anything from salads, eggs, vegetables and meats. Keep refrigerated for best
preservation.
