This skin comes from our pigs, which were moved to a new area every week in our "Piggy Woods" where they root up the ground for tubers, eat grass and weeds, acorns, wild blackberries, and anything else they desire. They were supplemented with a ration of 50% Non-GMO Barley and Grass-fed skim milk and 50% Non-GMO feed for most of their lives but the past couple months they have been completely corn and soy free, only getting barley and skim milk.
We cut the skin into strips that are 1-2 inches in width.
