Pork belly is very flavorful without the need for any smoking or curing. Feel free to add your favorite seasoning while cooking it. We personally love it with just salt and pepper. (Note: Pork Belly is not considered bacon until it is seasoned but some refer to this as uncured bacon so we added that to the title to avoid confusion and so you didn't think we were out of that product.)
These pigs were moved to a new area every week in our "Piggy Woods" where they root up the ground for tubers, eat grass and weeds, acorns, wild blackberries, and anything else they desire. They were supplemented with Non-GMO pig feed, 100% grass fed skim milk, and scraps from our butchershop.
