Swiggs are flavored waters with a hint of shrub syrup (read below to find out how shrub syrups are made). Our Swiggs have a very light flavor are naturally carbonated from the fermentation process, great thirst quenchers, and contain
probiotics. They are commonly compared to kombucha, fizzy, tart, and refreshing.
Shrubs are created with organic fruit and adding organic cane sugar and allowing them to meld for several days. The organic cane sugar helps to pull the delicious juices from the fruits or vegetables. The solids are then strained off and the raw organic apple cider vinegar with the mother is added to the juices and allowed to ferment for several weeks. After the fermentation is complete, you have a shrub, a syrup that is fruity, yet tart and refreshing. This syrup contains all the health benefits of the raw apple cider vinegar with the mother and probiotics from the fermentation.
