This lard is rendered from organically fed pigs supplemented with a Soy-Free feed, from our Amish friends in PA. This product is a great alternative to cooking oils such as vegetable oil because it is much more stable, and less likely to break down into harmful free radicals. 

This lard is great for baking, is pure white, and was not heated above 170 degrees F in the rendering process. It can also be used for frying, or as a spread in place of mayo or butter.
