Stinging Nettle Tea, Sweet

Stinging Nettle Tea, Sweet

Quart Glass Jar
$5.00

Stinging Nettles grow in humus rich soils, floodplains, rich woods, and disturbed areas.  They are rich in vitamins A, C, D, iron, potassium, manganese, and calcium. They are also high in protein and when cooked are very mild, tasting similar to spinach but slightly rougher.

To make it into tea:  place the nettle stems and leaves into a pot, fill pot with water until the nettles are covered.  Bring to a boil.  Let steep until cool.  Pour tea through a cheese cloth or filter.  Stir in sweetener of choice or place in refrigerator without, both ways are very good.
