South Florida Delivery Updates...

Right now we are in the process of deciding if we should go every other week to South Florida.  If we decide "Yes" we may decide to do a delivery on November 3rd but we will let all the South Florida customers know.  We may just start South Florida every 2 weeks after the November 17th delivery...Stay tuned. Neptune Beach Farmers Market...

As you know we have been visiting the Neptune Beach Farmers Market every 4 weeks on Saturdays.  We have decided to discontinue visiting this market due to lack of sales and interest as well as the fact that it makes for a very long day due to the distance to get to the market.  Thank you to everyone that supported us as we attempted this effort.  You can of course still pickup at Mandarin or The Beaches every 2 weeks (https://fullcirclerealfoods.com/locations).

FCF News

We are so impressed with the desire for real 100% grass fed milk lately.  Our orders are up and we are very excited to be able to fulfill these and more.  We have learned from Jimmy, http://www.regengraze.com/, how to have abundant fall forage as you can see from the picture of the cows in the peas.  While I am not nearly as good at this as Jimmy I am pleased with the results this year. I will explain what we did with peas as it has been amazing how they turned out and how much the cows like to eat it.  In fall, winter and spring we use about 100 acres of grass but in summer grass grows crazy, so we only need half that acreage. Therefore, we set aside half of the ranch for winter growth.  The last time I rotated the cows through this area that is being set aside for the winter I spun out some good old native iron clay peas, with the tractor and as you can see they went wild. So, now, when our grass is declining, instead of having just grass that is low in protein for the cows as previous years we have all these high protein peas in with the grass. It is quite an awesome thing and I did not till my soil and lose organic matter at all to get this result. The cows are nuts about it and production is high and cream line is huge in the milk along with a LOT of color. THIS my friends is REAL 100% grass fed milk, high in CLA’s to reduce your chances of cancer and help you stay trim, go here for details http://www.eatwild.com/cla.html.  Meanwhile we heal the land and reduce CO/2 out of the atmosphere, oh yea it is ALL a very good thing. Drink more milk will you, forget the cheese, ha ha.

We are not burger king and you cannot have it your way. We are still a small family farm and the family part is still the most important thing to us. For this reason and for our sanity and the sanity of our farm help here we ask you to place your order on time and respect our boundaries and we thank you so very much for your cooperation in this.

Pork highlights...

If you are interested in getting a half or whole pig for the winter, we will be going to the butcher on 10/26 (ready for pickup/delivery by 11/5) or 11/23 (ready for pickup/delivery by 12/3) so contact us now for a cut sheet and to submit your deposit.  You can even come out to the farm and pick out the one you want! :)

Special Events...
Periodically we attend different events to offer our forest-fed pork throughout North/Central Florida. The next event we wanted to highlight that we will be at is the Swallowtail Farm Festival which will be held on 11/14 from 12pm-9pm (https://www.facebook.com/events/540644522752810/).  This is a great community event to celebrate community, locality and the bounty of Fall.  They will have demonstrations, live music, farm tours, kids activities and more.  We will have a tent setup where we will be serving different types of pork sausage.  We hope to see you there!

Thanks for being conscious consumers who vote with your pocket book by supporting our growing family of farms and budding entrepreneurs,

Trial Date: October 21st, Please Come And Show Your Support

Hello Small Farm Enthusiasts, Our trial date is set for October 21st at the Suwannee County Courthouse in Live Oak, FL. We would like to ask you to drop everything and come to the trial. The more people we can get into that room the better off we will be. If you want to say something on our behalf you may be allowed but if you want to observe, only, that works too. The judge will be persuaded by numbers of people interested in this case.

Rabbit, Chestnuts, Micro-Greens And A Trial 9/20/19

Hello Small Farm Enthusiasts, We may be going to trial. We are alleged criminals for selling food without a proper license. They sent an undercover investigator to our farm to buy our food and caught us red handed. We are charged with a second degree misdemeanor just like a druggy. Yes it is a very sick world we live in when the farmer and his wife who neither have ANY previous record are accused of a crime and the crime is something that people have been doing since the beginning of time.

Kefir, a Glass a Day Will Keep the Doctor Away and Persimmons A-plenty 9/6/19

Hello Small Farm Enthusiasts, Kefir made from raw, 100% grass fed milk is an amazing super food loaded with friendly bacteria for your gut. A healthy person will have 2 to 6 lbs of healthy bacteria in their gut. Another way to say this is that a healthy person will have 80% good bacteria and 20% bad in the gut but most Americans have this ratio reversed. This imbalance affects the immune function as these friendly bacteria are a huge part of your immune system.
