Our New Website

As you all know we have launched a new website: www.fullcirclerealfoods.com and new email: fullcirclerealfoods@gmail.com. We wanted to share a few tips with you to help you navigate through the site and better understand what has changed:

Tips:
1. When you register for the first time, you will be taken to the Pickup Locations screen and there you can click "Order Online For this Location" and the site will remember going forward that is your desired location.
2. If you want to pickup at another location for a future delivery you can change your delivery location during the checkout process or when you first go to place the order select the "Order Online for this Location" option beside the applicable product when you start shopping.
3. If you want to change/cancel your order, you can do so up until the order deadline (two nights prior to the delivery date) by going to Account | My Orders  and clicking More Info beside the applicable order.  There you can click Edit beside the applicable item and make the changes you would like or click Cancel Order.
4. Our site does work on mobile devices & tablets, but you will want to select a pickup location first before shopping.  If you do not you may get redirected to the locations page. If you notice any issues with using a mobile device or tablet, please email us with the device/tablet type you are using as well as the browser and current version of that browser.  That will help us to better troubleshoot the issue.

Updates:
1. You no longer have to login just to see the website.  You will be able to see everything about our farm and our products and only have to register/login once you are ready to complete an order.
2. We have revised our delivery fee structure to a per pound rate and have included a handling fee.  This fee structure is based on the delivery location you select and it's distance from the farm to that delivery location.  This allows us to have the necessary funding for the drivers who bring you your products.
3. Our upcoming delivery dates are more clear on the delivery location pages as well as our delivery calendar is more interactive.
4.  We now ACCEPT Debit & Credit Cards!  If you choose credit card as a payment method when you check out, you will receive an email link when your order has been packed where you can go and pay for your order prior to picking up your items.  This is handled through Stripe.com. There will be no extra fee to you for paying with a debit/credit card.
5. We have added a few additional delivery locations such as to South Florida (in Boca Raton) and soon to be at The Beaches Farmers Market in Neptune Beach.
6. Our new order deadline is now two days prior to the delivery date at midnight (ex.Tuesday at midnight for a Thursday delivery) and we will not accept any late orders after this point.

Now at Neptune Beach Farmer's Market in JAX....
We will be starting to sell at the Beaches Green Market in Neptune Beach every 4 weeks in May. You will be able to place orders on our site and pickup at this location starting at that time as well.  The market is from 2pm-5pm and is located at Jarboe Park at the intersection of A1A and Florida Avenue.  The website for the market is http://www.beacheslocalfoodnetwork.org/Pages/BeachesGreenMarket.aspx. We will post the details on our website which will outline the dates we will be at this market.

We need help at Farmer's Markets and with Farm Deliveries..
We are looking for individuals that are interested in working with us at the Farmer's Markets that we attend.  We currently go to the Gainesville 441 Growers Market every other Saturday and will be starting to go to the the Jacksonville Neptune Beach Market every 4 weeks on Saturday.  Also, we have periodic deliveries we need help with to pick up feed, take pigs to the butcher, pick up pork from the butcher, etc.  For the Farmer's Market we will pay a % of the profits for that day and for deliveries we will pay a per mile fee (both negotiable).  Contact us at angelabowen@gmail.com if you are interested or know someone that may be interested.

South Florida Delivery...
As we mentioned in the last newsletter, we have partnered with My Organic Food Club (http://www.myorganicfoodclub.com/) to begin offering deliveries of our products throughout South Florida.  They are located in Boca Raton so this will be our primary delivery location however they offer additional delivery service up to Jupiter and down to the Florida Keys.  Deliveries will occur every 4 weeks on Tuesdays starting on April 7th.  The pick up window will be from 3pm-6pm however if you are not able to pickup during this time you can pay a $5.00 fridge fee for them to hold it for you to pick up at another time or you can pay them a separate delivery fee to bring it directly to your home or the location of your choice. This new delivery location is now listed on our new website so you can start placing orders now.  If you know people in that area, please let them know.
Also, we are going to establish a new delivery location in Vero Beach beginning in June as part of our monthly Boca drop. We will be adding additional details about this as well on the website.

Lard Special....
As we are learning to make lard in bulk, we have hiccups along the way.  With our last batch, some of it came out great and some of it came out a bit well done.  So we are offering the well done lard at half the price.  It might not be great for your pie but we still think it is good for cooking.  It is listed as Lard- SPECIAL on the site in quarts and pints.

Also, we now have Lard in Pints listed on the site (from the good batch).

Thanks for voting with your pocket book and supporting our growing family of farms and budding entrepreneurs,
Dennis and Alicia

Trial Date: October 21st, Please Come And Show Your Support

Hello Small Farm Enthusiasts, Our trial date is set for October 21st at the Suwannee County Courthouse in Live Oak, FL. We would like to ask you to drop everything and come to the trial. The more people we can get into that room the better off we will be. If you want to say something on our behalf you may be allowed but if you want to observe, only, that works too. The judge will be persuaded by numbers of people interested in this case.

Rabbit, Chestnuts, Micro-Greens And A Trial 9/20/19

Hello Small Farm Enthusiasts, We may be going to trial. We are alleged criminals for selling food without a proper license. They sent an undercover investigator to our farm to buy our food and caught us red handed. We are charged with a second degree misdemeanor just like a druggy. Yes it is a very sick world we live in when the farmer and his wife who neither have ANY previous record are accused of a crime and the crime is something that people have been doing since the beginning of time.

Kefir, a Glass a Day Will Keep the Doctor Away and Persimmons A-plenty 9/6/19

Hello Small Farm Enthusiasts, Kefir made from raw, 100% grass fed milk is an amazing super food loaded with friendly bacteria for your gut. A healthy person will have 2 to 6 lbs of healthy bacteria in their gut. Another way to say this is that a healthy person will have 80% good bacteria and 20% bad in the gut but most Americans have this ratio reversed. This imbalance affects the immune function as these friendly bacteria are a huge part of your immune system.
