We Grow Up By Caring for People and Things
The Meaning Behind Delivery Improvements
It’s been said we learn more from our mistakes than our successes. I wholeheartedly believe that maxim. Then I ought to be in the genius category by now at age 52. Well, I can say I am on the mastery path to whatever my hand finds to do—to do what I do with excellence. I believe that is the right spirit of what is good in America—a drive to excel and bring good to others as a result. That is the definition of service.
Since last June, I’ve been serving as the Full Circle Farm Delivery Tech. You’ve experienced changes to how you receive your food. The farm staff has received much positive feedback to the changes—thank you! That tells me we are pursuing the correct course change. You affirm for me that my
gift of management and governance is authentic.
Before moving to Florida only one year ago, I erected, owned, and operated a property and building maintenance service company in Oregon for 26 years. Over the course of those years, I discovered that I enjoyed bringing increasing order to the confusion that often prevails in the marketplace.
I found myself excelling at organization, systemization, workflow, and automation, that I implemented these practices into my family life. Wow! Talk about life-giving! And it continues to this day as my wife and I enjoy the fruit of applying DEEP thinking concerning the care and management of family life.
When I see things out of order, I’m disposed to bring peace to that situation. That is one way I protect the property of my conscience given me by the One True God and exercise knowledgable love for others. But notice it begins first with myself. What began (and continues) with dealing ruthlessly with bringing order to myself and my marriage, extends quite naturally to our five children, then to those areas of life outside the home for which we have responsibility.
That is why you see and experience changes to the delivery of your food. You’re receiving a measure of my life through my work. Why my family lives at Full Circle Farm is because of the peace and order that prevails in the food raised here.
In making improvements to the delivery system, one variable of that is the delivery time you are expected to come pick up your food. There have been changes to the pickup times and sometimes they’ve changed more than once.
Dennis, Alicia and myself deeply appreciate your understanding and flexibility through these time changes. It can easily be a concern that customers don’t like to have the pick up time change. Where that might be a case for you, be assured that the changes are not made without careful analysis of all the information I accumulate each week I deliver your food.
Growth and maturity mean change. That is to say that peace and order do not happen by chance or accident—to the contrary. It means life, intelligence. When change happens it is because of intention of design.
That is what you receive from Dennis as a Master Farmer and that is now what you receive from me as Master of Peaceful Governance.
We don’t mean to cause disturbances with our improvements but if they do cause a bit of consternation, it is temporary until you experience the greater peace and order from the change. And how about the greater joy for maturity?
True governance is not that things don’t go wrong. It is when something does go wrong, we investigate the cause, consider superior alternatives, and implement the change. This is reality.
This process of how we lead people and care for things is how maturity develops in individuals. This is how you can know good things are happening at Full Circle Farm.
In greater service to you, we must go deeper in every area of farm management that leads to taking possession of your food delivered. You are the reason the farm exists and you are the reason improvement must take place—that is the nature of all lasting business—service.
Be hopeful that the changes here are an example of what is good in America. We change because we have the capacity to govern ourselves. We don’t depend on others to change first before we change—such a dependent character is socialism. The higher ideal is that when we recognize confusion for what it is—death—we are free to initiate a superior alternative unto increasing measures of life, liberty, and happiness.
Through the delivery service, you’ve experienced at least one area I’m highly skilled in—personal and professional management. There is a host of sub skills within my family and myself that allow us to experience the level of inner and outer peace that brings order to our surroundings.
In that vein, I am putting myself out to you with over 30 years experience in peaceful productivity and governance. What pesky problems do you need solved right away? What compelling desires do you want to move towards? I can help you.
Whether for yourself or someone you know, whether personally or professionally, everyday I help others to be peacefully productive. That’s how I was easily promoted for 12 years service in the United States Army, operated a service company for 26 years, and developed a language school in Japan for English mastery.
Is the art of stress-free productivity attractive to you? How about peaceful productivity with children? If so, review a comprehensive skill set listed on my website. Then engage me in a discovery and dialogue to explore if there is good fit between us.
