Alzheimer's = Diabetes of the Brain 10/6/17

Alzheimer’s is just diabetes of the brain?! Wow, I just read an article by Nasha Winters that goes along with Dr. Mercola’s Fat for Fuel I read a while ago. Winter's book, The Metabolic Approach to Cancer is on my list of "Must Reads", now. She says 100 years ago we ate 5
lbs of sugar per year now the average is 175 lbs. NOT COOL! Mercola lately said that we have (1) teaspoon of sugar in our blood. This is
healthy. But what happens when we eat a large apple or God forbid a soda that contains 10 or 20 teaspoons of sugar in it? Your body has to do something with all that sugar. And if you are like me and your body is not capable of turning it into fat it REALLY has an issue to deal with on its hands. WHAT TO DO with all that sugar??!! One thing it can do with it is burn it up fast, but how much fire can your body take before “IT” burns up itself? Is this inflammation? Ketones are a healthier form of fuel than sugar, and Winters and Mercola feel is safer and even a possible cure for Epilepsy, Autism and other Metabolic issues. Uh oh, I just used the word "cure"! No one forward this to the FDA because I do not want them coming in my back door with guns. Well, anyway if you want to learn more, read these books and learn all about it or go to a website started by a mom who had good results with her epileptic son https://www.charliefoundation.org/ and now wants to help others understand this. Mayo clinic used to prescribe this for epileptics but in the 1940 drugs came out to “deal” with it then all research on diet ended suddenly??
Tallahassee Drop Locations: We now have 2 new delivery locations, one in Tallahassee and one in Monticello. You can view those and all of our locations here. Alan Boyd has been bringing orders from our farm to customers in the Tallahassee area for 10 years and is now passing the baton to Dana. Dana interned here ten years ago and knows us well, her young energy will bring some new life and many changes to our Tallahassee gang, we hope to see growth there. We have seen growth there recently already and think it will continue.
Deadlines for Placing an Order: Speaking of growth, we are seeing some new high numbers and with it will come some changes. We
mentioned late order fee last time, this makes us happy to do late orders, if we can, instead of unhappy. We want to be happy. We want your food to come from a happy farm not a sad one and when the help is not happy no one is happy so we are going to make some changes in the next few months to adjust to the increase. One of the first changes that will be implemented right away is earlier deadlines so that we have more time to get orders together. So, effective immediately, starting the week of Oct. 15th our order deadlines will be
two days earlier for Jacksonville and the Gainesville to Tampa Bay delivery. Our website will send you 2 reminder e-mails, one 5 days
before the order deadline and one 2 days before the order deadline so we hope this will help with the transition.
Asking the Right Questions, for your Health: Ostrich syndrome is rampant, some people seem to love sticking their heads in
the sand and drinking GMO laden milk that they believe to be otherwise. Grain fed does not have the nutrients in it that you need to be healthy. Plus the pesticides, residues etc from peanut hulls and cottonseed meal! YUCK! There is a great need to ask questions, the right ones. But what is the right question. Well, for starters ask if the cows are fed GMO feed? Does the feed your cows eat have peanut hulls and cottonseed meal in it? May I see a label (ingredient list)from the grain your cows eat? These should get a good start going. If your farmer does not make eye contact or seems a bit hesitant to answer these questions ask more. Like, What percentage do you think your cow's diet comes from grain vs grass? What do you do when cows get mastitis? (antibiotics?) Another great question for your farmers is what is your farm's holistic goal, or mission, or philosophy? There is not a one size fits all answer, here. People are different and our goals are varied and complicated. Our goal here at Full Circle is to produce nutrient dense foods so people can heal their bodies. Your body makes 300 million cells every 60 seconds so we believe that if you look at the plate of food your about to eat you can easy see if your body will be making healthy, medium or weak cells in the next 24 hours. Nutrient dense foods will make healthy cells and heal. They also allow you to have amazingly healthy children. Plus you can prevent dis-ease. This is our passion and this is what keeps us going on rainy days.
Extra credit questions depending on importance to you.
Do you vaccinate? Do you worm with chemicals? Adult cows or calves only? Yearly or as needed?
